Ah the joys with a toddler.  Owen was 16.5 months on this trip. Since we live in Arizona and Matt's whole family lives in the Southeast, we took a trip back there this summer for 10 days because lord knows we won't be traveling with two babies for awhile.  Believe me one is enough. Owen was 13 months on April 1st and he began walking this past Friday and is getting really good at it!  He loves to walk around the house in circles holding whatever object holds his interest.  I think this new movement has made it harder for him to sleep.  We are having some nap resistance-- mostly in the afternoon.  More on that in another post.

We drove to Tucson to shoot a wedding last Saturday and the 5 hour drive was the longest he's been on and he did great... He's 11 pounds 3 oz (naked) and 23.5 inches.  That's 50% for weight and 75% for height.  He's a growing boy!Since we had a home birth, Owen didn't get the hep-B shot that hospitals give babies at birth (we also opted out of the eye ointment, the Vitamin K shot and he's not circumcised just to bring you up to speed).
